This animation was made with DAZ Studio
Start by making a scene as usual in DAZ Studio, and above the window click on arrow and drop down the "timeline" window. You can set your animation to include as many frames as you like, but more frames use more bytes. I usually do 16 frames. Set you window size in 'render settings', which can be found just below 'render' in top menus.
I have 4 windows here to show you how I set my animation to move. With the timeline on zero at far left, I have my characters where I want them and lighting set. I then hit the button at top that I have circled in red "create a keyframe at the current time". This sets a moment in time for your animation. I have done this on frame "0" and again here on frame "5", after I have moved my characters in the way I want. DAZ studio will move the parts slightly in each frame for you, so you don't have to set each frame. You can set first frame and move to last, if you like, and use a set pose for final frame.
I have chosen to move my two characters as if they were walking and talking, and my background moves opposite direction, so they are covering the landscape, setting every 5 frames to a timeline.
When I have to my last frame, I can move the red arrow back and forth, to see if I like the movements the animation is making.
Now I set my "render settings" to render the animation. Make sure you have white circles in the two left spots I have circled in red. On the right, click on button to browse where you want your renders to be placed on your pc. Make a folder and give the image a name. You can check after the first render to see if lighting is the way you want. Any changes to me made, should be made in zero frame setting so it will carry onto to all other frames you have set. After the render is complete, you will have 16 (or as many as you have chosen) rendered into this folder. I set to have 'jpg' format. Now all you have to do is assemble the images in Animation Shop or any animation program you chose.
